IUnlockJoy I build amazing Windows Phone Apps event –11th August rocks!!

Last Saturday ,11th August Microsoft and Ahemdabad .NET user group has organized the IUnlockJoy I build amazing Windows Phone Apps  event. It was first in india as IUnlockJoy campaign was just launched by Microsoft before 3 days. It was superb and well organized thanks to Dhola Mahesh, Prabjhot Baxi,Kaushal Bhavasar and Pranjal Nigam.

It was a great event with almost 100+ people during holiday. Event was started by a keynote speaker Mahesh Dhola. He introduced IUnlockJoy- I build amazing Windows Phone Apps campaign and some of benefits of it.


After his session Prabjhot singh Baxi has taken a session about how you can get best out of windows phone. He has describe all the process from opening a developer account to publish an app to market place. The session was full of information and I really enjoyed it.


After his session Jagdish Sasala has taken an session about how we can develop windows phone application with bing maps. Where he explained how we can create a developer account for bing maps and then how we can use that in windows phone apps very easily.


After his session Muhammad Afzal Qureshi has given a nice technical session for developing windows phone application using web api. His session of full of technical things. In his session he talked about how we can implement repository patterns and how we can handle exceptions in windows phone. All people really enjoyed that session.


After Afzal’s session we have our own Ahmedabad .NET User group guy Kaushal Bhavsar. He has given a session about developing user experience in windows phone. In his session he has given thoughts about how we should design the work flow of the application. He also explained good design versus bad design via taking some examples. It was a great experience.


Then it was my time to share stage of this event this great people. I have taken a session about Windows phone apps performance analysis. Where I have shown the performance analysis tool for windows phone and how  we can fix the errors from that. I have also explained the best practice for the Image,Media and application startup for windows phone apps. It was my first public speaking and the response of attendees was good.


Last but not least Thanks Note was given by Pranjal Nigam and then we concluded event and gone for tea and snacks. It was great way to networking with some of nice people from Ahmedabad.
